Polio Quebec celebrates its 25th anniversary!
When she noticed that, with the emergence of the post-polio syndrome, people needed to gather across North-America, Mrs Sieglinde Stieda began to collect information and contact people who wanted to have an association in Quebec. She organised the first meeting of what was going to become the Polio Quebec Association. It was in 1985.
Afterwards, it is due to the spirit and efforts to many people (voluntary, members and medical advisors) that Polio Quebec could help and give information, encourage and support research, give the opportunity to get together, and finally become what it is today.
Thank you for your support!
